Whether you enjoy fishing, kayaking, crabbing, cruising or exploring, there are water sports galore at Fripp Island. The ocean surrounding Fripp abounds in bass, trout, flounder, grouper and blue crabs; and a fresh seafood dinner awaits the lucky angler.
The Fripp Island Marina offers every convenience imaginable for boat owners and resort guests. Just a few miles from the Intracoastal Waterway, the marina offers offshore charters and inshore fishing with experienced guides. The Marina Store located on Old House Creek, is fully stocked with everything needed for a great day on the water. The marina is owned and operated by the Fripp Island Golf and Beach Resort.
The Marina Staff is happy to get your boat ready to go, using the in-out ramp service. If you prefer to ready your own boat, the marina offers gasoline and diesel services, as well as the pump-out station. The staff provides docking assistance and boat cleaning service.
The marina has 65 convenient wet slips, and 120 dry slips for long-term storage. For everything boat- and water-related, the Marina Store is your destination. Here you will find restrooms and showers. The Marina can provide live and frozen bait, tackle, sunscreen, ice and drinks, or pack your cooler with deli sandwiches and salads.
Paddle Boarding & More
Come to the world famous landmark, NALU Paddle Boarding, which is right on the docks at the Marina overlooking the marsh and tidal creeks. Let NALU give you and the family an island experience that is unforgettable, from paddle boarding to surfing to beach yoga and more! Before and after your fun day on the water, get some cold drinks and snacks. Come in and say hello to the Field Brothers and see what the exploding NALU brand is all about. Choose offshore or inshore fishing accompanied by experienced charter guides. Offshore in the Gulf Stream, chances are good you’ll catch sailfish, mahi-mahi, barracuda, kingfish, marlin, wahoo, grouper or snapper. Inshore, the South Carolina coast has plentiful trout, flounder, red drum, cobia, tarpon and Spanish mackerel.
