Fripp Island is near the southern tip of South Carolina, midway between Charleston and Savannah, Georgia. Conveniently located just 45 miles from I-95 and 18 miles from Beaufort, South Carolina, we’re at the end of US Highway 21.
With controlled access, our island offers a different lifestyle often not found in the hustle and bustle of everyday living. It is easy to take a step back and enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty of this island aptly referred to as the “sea island jewel”. With such minimal development on the island, there could hardly be a better place to relax.
Driving I-95 Going South
Take exit 33 (heading south). Follow the signs for Beaufort and US Highway 21. Stay on Highway 21 and at the very end you will come to the iconic bridge that serves are the entrance to Fripp Island
Driving I-95 Going North
Take exit 8 (278 east) and turn right. Follow Beaufort signs and turn left on State Road 141 before Walmart. Turn left on Highway 170. Stay on 170 until you cross the Broad River Bridge. Turn right on Highway 802 and go past Parris Island. Turn right at the second light (continuing on 802). Follow 802 over Lady’s Island Bridge. Turn right at US Highway 21 and follow to the Fripp Island Bridge.
